I assume he means a hood like this one:

They are getting pretty rare now. Chevy only ran them for two or three years before they got axed due to water running into the intake.

he means one like this:
these hoods are becoming extremely rare because they are the only stock fiberglass hoods, they looks freaking cool, and they were only made for 82,83,and 84 Z28's.
and as for wanting one of these rare hoods...join the club. I need a new one Sad

Its fiberglass, so when the guy before me didn't take very good care of it there is a crack on one of the corners of the scoops that I fixed, but is just waiting to crack out again. And when i got it there was about a half inch of grime on the underside of the hood, this soaked into the fiberglass and is now seeping out under my new paint causing little pimples on one side. It still looks good from about 8 feet, but things like that on a brand new paint job are just painful to see.

+1 for wanting one of those hoods.

I used to have one on my old Z/28, but I sold it after the motor seized and later sold the car. I wish I'd have kept it now. It had a small crack in it, but it was still pretty solid.

I'm sure I'll have to take a number, but if anyone sees a white one for sale, let me know.

I got mine for about $30 from a wrecking yard. The functional flap part was missing, but for 30 bones I couldn't pass it up! Cool

I can splash a fiberglass mold if someone can find one. Then we can have one for everyone!

Would it be possible to make a blister hood look like the fiberglass one? Just enough to splash a mold and make a real one?
