OH and Jake. If you can't party maybe you could take one day off and just come to the show or something?

You are the crew dude Wink

This is a really fun one because Brandon has over 110 acres. We can hang out, crank the tunes, have a few pops or beers and just relax. Some of the guys go out and do a little target/skeet shooting. There is a hot tub, video games, etc. Usually we end up with a burn out 'contest' which is really just an excuse to make a lot of noise and be abusive to rubber (see the video gallery off of the cascadecrew.org main page if you haven't already). Bench racing and lying to each other occurs throughout the weekend. If there has been a tutu bet, the tutu wearer is crowned at midnight and has to wear the thing for the next day. Sunday is usually a cruise that Brandon plans out. This is some beautiful country so the cruise is always nice. We have even headed over to Longview and run the go-karts a few times.

We did change the date to coincide with the car show which as of last year is a fundraiser 'Dollars for Scholars' which raises money to help kids with tuition. Before that it was a fundraiser for the volunteer fire department. The entrance fee also gets you a big bar-b-q lunch and you help some kids out - win-win.

Everyone should enter their car. There are cars of all sorts at this event. A lot of works in progress. Winning a trophy is not a big deal and I say this because I have never won one Wink. Several of these guys have though (see picture gallery off main cascadecrew.org site).

Brandon will post up more details as we get closer but usually we all bring some food and whatever drinks you prefer to consume. So far each year Brandon and his family have had a big salmon bar-b-que on the Saturday night of that weekend - fresh salmon - mmmmmm.

Mark it on your calendar buddy - great chance to hang out and get to know a lot of the other guys/girls in the club.

Ok that was long winded. To summarize:

You are invited - It is fun - Plan to be there Thumbs up

Laughing This time I'm going to try to take Monday off as well as Friday, just so I don't have to leave so early on Sunday. Last year was a blast.

ok, ok I said that I was sorry for the mishap on the entry form last year. Embarassed
Rest assured that it won't happen again. Very Happy

We have a lot of new people this year and between Rodney and I we will have 2 cars in that weren't "counted" last year so we are up in the ranks for this one!

We got our entry form earlier this week too but Rodney has been so busy that he hasn't seen it yet.

Do they have a "Dirtiest" Award?

I think steve needs a trophy for that.

hehe we nicknamed him 'dirty steve' but if you spent more than two minutes with him last weekend you know that it isn't because of the mud on his truck Wink
