What kind of attitude is that!
How can it be a dyno gathering, if you don't show up an hour late and hung over! _________________

I should go correct that and get some alcoholic beverages for the house (I've been out for eons ). If anyone wants to stay here on Friday, I'll pitch in to get some beer and snacks - the Navy base is only a few miles away and the stuff doesn't cost as much there
Seriously though, my job is linked to the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), no alcohol 8 hours prior to work, and weekends are the only real chance I have to "relax" like that. Consequently, with my long commute, I have little to no alcohol at home. That's also why I can sleep in for two or three hours and still get up before most people. _________________ 92 Camaro

I'm seriously attempting to get the day off, AKA bring the boss with me, AKA bring my dad and one of his cars.
I really want to see what the pro street is putting down with a smogger big block. REALLY want to see what my dads oldsmobile 442 is running at.
I know for sure that 305302eater is coming izcain, at the very least I'll be riding shotgun. _________________

CHANGE OF PLANS. I will be there. and I WILL be dynoing. however it will probably be the six, for two reasons:
1. it's a longish drive and I want to get good MPG
2. i want to see if i picked anything up with my new timing chain, and new distributor.
I will also be bringing a 3/4ths of the way full bottle of three generations tequila with me. finally found a place in hills-borito that carries the good stuff. |

normally I would agree, however this stuff is prety nice. Schultzy turned me on to it. It has been the closest to an "official tequila of Cascadcrew" for as long as I have been attending gatherings.
hell, my Girlfriends little sister can take a shot of this stuff. _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

To izcain: He is most certainly running his car.
I hope to be there, if i come, I will surely be dynoing.
And to xopher, yay for contributing to the delinquency of minors! _________________

Well doesn't look like I will be making it. I was 'iffy' due to spring break for the kids but now it turns out that I have never had the right bearings in the 383. I will have to pull it and replace the rod and main bearings. No telling if it would cause a failure or not but I would rather spend a few hundred and a weekend effort than waste my engine. Don't think I should be pushing a 200+ shot through her until I get this sorted out.

Mike, you're welcome to ride up with me. Then we have lots of time to discuss what we should do to your motor while it's out!

Thats a bummer Schultzy I was lookin forward to seeing that machine! I understand perfectly about getting the right things though! I find myself doing that once in a while anyways. Alway want to have a little bit of overkill rather then running to the ragged edge! _________________
