just wondering if anyone has seen any dyno results from doing a injector pod spacer to a lo3. Thats one of the only things i have left to do to it. Was also thinking of doing some new energy saver engine and trany mounts. _________________ Thirdgenless |

Those things would be the last to do to it without getting inside it. Under drives, smog delete, a/c delete, full length headers to glass pack dumps, dual snorkel intake, tbi performance chip, tbi spacer. basically everything i can do to it without going inside the block. its way past its time to do that. I get a lot of blow by now. o and i have always had a really big over fueling problem. _________________ Thirdgenless |

I was just going to suggest a cheap cam or something that'd be easy to swap in. |

I had thought about doing a cam for a while but don't see any reason for doing it to a 305 with over 170000 miles on it. plus i don't have a cam bearing puller to take the old ones out and put the new ones in. Thanks though. I know a cam would be the biggest difference in the world for my hp which is where i'm hurting. O well the crate will come once i get money off the tree at my house. _________________ Thirdgenless |

You don't need to pull the cam bearings. I stabbed a cam in my 305 TBI car when I had 180k on it, I now have 210k on it. stock heads, and just stabbing the cam in, and tuning the computer, I put down like 220hp. |

Friday or Saturday? I'm going into Auburn Friday to drop off the headers I got fom alloy (thanks Dan) to get them coated. I'm undecided if I'm headed over to Sequim on Friday evening or Saturday morning early, but I'm sure I can work something out. _________________ 92 Camaro

Let us know. I've been meaning to PM you about maybe staying at your place friday giving Zac more time to get to the dyno in the am, but if you are heading to Sequim then I'll have to head to sequim too!
I wont be leaving vancouver until 7pm friday. That puts me in Tacoma area around 930-10, and sequim after midnight. |

Well im only about a 1/4 mile away from work so it doesn't matter to me. If anyone wants to come early and stay then thats fine! I have plenty of room. I can just head there a little early and anyone staying there can just head there whenever they get up. _________________

What cam did you use? I'm just hesitant on putting a cam in something that is starting to get alot of blow by threw the breather. _________________ Thirdgenless |

Decided! I have a couple of places to go on Friday, Auburn (between Seattle and Tacoma) and one local stop to check on an alternator. Also, fighting Seattle area traffic on Friday is no fun, so a Saturday morning start makes more sense. Your estimates are pretty close, accounting for traffic in Olympia and Tacoma on I-5 should put you here between 9:30 and 10:30. _________________ 92 Camaro

Best place I can think of (on the way for both of us) is somewhere in the Wal-Mart Superstore complex off Hwy 3 in Poulsbo. If we leave here at 7:30, it would out us there at about 8:00. _________________ 92 Camaro

Seriously, I popped a $10 LT1 cam in my lb9 and hit 225 to the wheels. Doo eeeeet.
And I think I've got friday off so I'm cool for meeting anyone, anywhere, anytime. _________________

Ya but were you guys getting a lot of blow by when you did this? I get a lot of it threw the breather, one of the tech guys at the dyno place i just went to told me that it was a lot. But if i could find a really cheap cam to slap in her then i might think about it again.
If you are going then you should meat Al and I at wall mart in poulsbo at 8. would be cool to get at least a small thirdgen run in. _________________ Thirdgenless |
