so i decided to drive the GTA for the first time in about two weeks. it has been parked out in the open since my carport is taken by my leakiy white car and i open the trunk to find the telltale dripps down the inner fenders.... the damn hatch glass is leaking. so nbow i have to seal THAT up as well.
man... i can't win. i'll probably manage to get them both sealed up just in time for summer. |

I was shocked the first time I had resealed my tops I used all the super expensive seals genuine GM seals and all, and it still leaked bad. This time around I used just lower priced ebay seals since I figured it was going to leak anyways and this is the first time it hasn't. I was at that point once where I thought about using caulk to do the job but then I decided I liked being able to have the tops off to much lol. _________________

SOLVED (probably, knock on wood)
i found a second set of holes under my spoiler that were not sealed well. i added some all weather silicone caulk (black) and it seems to be sealed. i have yet to test it in rain as the car has been garaged since, but looking forward to it.
Pictures of weird mystery holes to come. |
