Make fun of all the guys I guess. Go shopping in some of the antique stores maybe. Ride along when we cruise, or drive the car and beat the rest of us. Fair warning though, watch the speed after you leave Longview. There are way too many cops/citizen down here. You can get a ticket for 5 over without trying too hard, or more(ask Mike). They also dont drive normal looking cop cars, we have tan bronco's, tan s10 blazers, gray crown vics, and gray Tahoe's. Plus the staters, they have some funky rigs too, suburbans, explorers, maroon and blue crown vics, plus the black and whites.
If you can stay long enough Sunday, I hope to take everybody across the river by ferry, then drive the oregon side to Astoria, take pics under the Astor column, then take the bridge back to Washington and return on this side.
Saturday will be pretty well used up by the car show. I hope most of you will enter. We can all park together. How nice your car is really doesnt matter. Maybe we can get the trophy for the club with the most entrants. I know our Canadian friends got a trophy last year for longest distance. (which of you got that anyway?) All you can eat bbq ribs and chicken dinners are served at the show and you get one free with entrance. Show will probably last until 1 or 2.. depends on the weather though. Then we'll come back. If still hungry later we'll bbq something else, probably more fish.
Friday arrivals will be treated to bbq salmon dinner at my place. Afterwards theres usually a fair amount of partying. It's not required however, maybe a couple sane people could come in handy!
I'll start a food thread a bit later. |

Give her the baby drunk... then she'll drop it accidently... feel horrible and consider herself unfit to bare children! |

Hey Brandon, who do I make the check out to for the car show? I didn't see anything about it on the form. Sounds like the wife may even come if there's room for her and if the kids can stay with family while we are gone.
I don't know for sure if I'll be up Friday afternoon or early Saturday yet, have to figure out the babysitting situation first. I'm NOT exposing my kids to you guys! |

Make it to the "Skamokawa Fire Dept." , Kelly. Anytime you make it is fine. That goes for everybody too. If you just want to come down for the car show thats great. Or maybe for the Sunday cruise. |

It's looking like I won't make it until Sat morning. Gonna have to miss the fishy BBQ
I never expected to be bringing the wife, but it should be a fun trip and it'll be nice to have company on the drive. I never figured she'd show interest in our cars (what am I saying... I never figured I'd even be on speaking terms with her again, lol). She's getting her life put back in order, including rehab for alchohol so don't be trying to get her smashed (unless you want pics of her riding one of the cows or something equally odd). |
