I had to service my ford today and had a few other small fix projects to do to it. So I end up searching for some info on the computer and came across another simple mod. Use a BB (like from a BB gun) and put it behind the spring in the fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pressure from 35-40 psi up to 60 - 65 psi. Feels like a huge differance in off idle acceleration, kind of hard to tell since it's raining and I can't get much traction in first gear. Luckly after searching for an hour I found a BB rolling around in the bottom of a drawer, so I'm still at $11 worth of mods. Not bad considering I have prolly picked up 40 - 50 hp.

If the same hp - $ ratio worked on the Camaro it would be capable of a sub 3 second quarter mile by now.

I am wondering if I could do the same mod? I'm guessing not since I think you have a Caterpillar fuel system and I run a Siemans fuel system.
