Anybody have a set of dark charcoal visors? If not how about a set that have good boards inside them that I can recover. I started to recover my visors but the boards inside are turning into sawdust.

Let me check the condition of the ones in my 89. I have a set that I want to replace them with. If they're decent, you can have them to recover (they're black).

Thanks Al, if they're good can you just bring them down to dyno? Not looking like the bird will be ready by then.. but you never know.

Brandon, I checked the visors in the 89 when I got home today. Looks like the two layers of board are starting to separate on both visors. Only other concern I had was the size, I heard somewhere that T-Top visors are slightly smaller that those in a Hardtop. Anyway, these aren't in much better shape than yours are.

OK, thanks anyway. I've been trying to catch Marv here.. see if I can steal slinky's. He's hard to get ahold of though. So anybody else that has a set, I'm still looking.

Hard tops are larger and flat.

T-Tops are shorter and convex.

Do you still need the visors? I have a decent set of black ones from the 88 IROC (T-top) I parted. Passengers side has a couple small flaws in the fabric but the drivers is near mint. Pay for shipping and their yours.

Let me see how my home recovering/sewing job works out. My car's a hardtop, not sure how the t-top visors would fit in it.

They are different.

T-Top Cars visors are more hotdog (long and skinny) wise, and have a curve to them to roll around the T-Top opening.

Hardtop visors are fatter and 100% flat.

I've had both too. These are my experiances.

I've had a total of 14 F-bodies
including all roof designs, they are definatly suposed to be curved to match the roof in your t-top car Tony same as vert visors
