yea iw a sthinking about buying a hypertech tuner for my car i dont want to chip it cuz i want to be able to unhook it and make it stock again plus i just dont like messing wiht ecus and electronics ahs anyone used the hypertech unit and does it perform good?

I was under the impression LT1 and LS1 don't have chips? It's all programmable?

well they are all tunable but i just dont want to mess with chipping it i like the tuners because you just plug them in and go

Can't you use LT1Edit, and laptop to do all of the same stuff?

its a good investment... I'm giving heavy consideration to a tuner for myself instead of having to take it somewhere...

then again, a tuner or two down here have a "lifetime" tune as long as you stay within the basic original tune (IE: N/A, Turbocharged, Nitrous, Supercharged... each time you want to change its only like $250 to change to a new tune and its good for as long as you stay that way... which means, if I get a tune now, and go to a big inch LSx motor I'll still get free tunes WEEE!!)
