I finally put some LTs on the bird so that should wake up a few ponies. Only downside is I had to have Walt's make the Y-pipe. Which vibrates on the car, as well as being crush bent dinky piping. Gross.

Did you get any more tuning done on your setup Ian? I had posted your dyno graph in a thread on TGO for someone that had put an HSR on a stock 305 tpi car to give them an idea of the gains possible from just a cam swap (hope you don't mind that). Anyway, looking at the AFR in the chart you were super rich and would probably pick up a few ponies just getting the fueling right.

Laughing

I'm so in the dark about tuning. I've never gotten around to learning even basic fueling control.

And yes I do mind! Shocked Laughing

Do you have a chip burned for your car and/or the ability to do that? If you are going to be getting exhaust work done have another o2 bung welded in and if we can get some time before the dyno you can hook up my wide-band and get things closer before the dyno pulls.

Now the stainless steel outlet fittings for my new nitrous and fuel solenoids are out of stock.... la la Wiggly wiggly

Glad to hear I am the only one affected by the curse this year.

Just grab some brass ones for time being, or try oil filter service.

Summit and jegs and the websites of aeroquip/russell/earls didn't show the fitting I needed. Went to OFS and they had the exact piece I needed, AND cheaper than fittings at summit! Woot!

There will be a floor or something for everyone. Need not worry about places to stay.

The sleeping arangment is never the most akward part of the weekend. Just wait until the tequila comes out. Wink

I've got the prominator in the thing so 'burning' a chip isn't a problem. Any laptop with a parrellel port and the tiny .exe file can do it. However, I don't have another o2 bung welded in and the exhaust is already butchered err welded up.

Dyno curse Lite. (only half the calories)

my right rear brake on the GTA has a bad bleeder valve that is STUCK in the caliper and loosing pressure. before dyno i have to get the car in tha garage, pull the Rrear brake caliper out and replace the bleeder valve WITHOUT destroying the caliper completly or i don't dyno. to add to that the right side has been making some scraping noise i don't fully understand when i am not on the brakes, i will have to inspect that as well. to further make this a time issue, i will not be able to get into the garage until this coming monday, giving me six days to dignose the problem, aquire any repair parts and install. and i work most of the days next week.

and despite the possable bad ignition module or timing chain on the six it should be good to go. Surprised

hopefully nothing like last years dyno curse (fuel pump finished just in time to shower and get to the pizza place Shocked )

I had the same problem. Use vice grips. You can get them inthere enough to crack it more so you can get it out.

Sound could be dust shield, scraper on the break bads, wheel bearing.

Damn you dyno curse...even you catch up to me.

Ordered the Carter 80gph pump a couple days ago, (after two NAPA replacements haven't worked)

I broke one of the smaller bolts that holds the mounting plate to the machined pad for the fuel pump on the block....

anyone have a really small, bolt-out?

And I still have to get wipers and exhaust done.....

Rolling Eyes

Go get one of the square easy outs. Drill a hole and pound it in, then turn it with a small wrench. Work wonders!

Brandon turned me onto them when I broke a headbolt.

Looks like I will be there fore sure.
I got approval to borrow another tow vehicle, instead of using my old suburban on that long drive. Yaa ...

I will be there Friday late afternoon/ early night some time, then doing dyno, then going home.
I can't wait.
Will be bringing may son and one of his friends.
Me, Chris and Chris.

Get down and Boogie!

Unless something terrible happens, man I hope not..

Thanks
Scott
