When we need to start looking at planning for the Dyno. Are we wanting to do it again, and what kind of interest is there. We have normaly done this at the end of January. If we are shooting for that date range, I need to start planning with the shop soon.

So, this is a free-form brainstorming session. Let me know what you guys are thinking.

I'll dyno your V6 tony! Thumbs up

its unlikely I"ll have the berlinetta in "Dyno" shape, but I'll come hang out and maybe put the fairlane up on the rollers.

If we start a final count, I'll have a 100% answer then.

170rwhp and 210ft/lbs @ 4800rpm....is my guess....I used to be able to get a nice one-wheelie-peelie out of that thing, now it just stumbles and floats valves.... Duh Time to do a point/plug gap check, and timing check. I might also check how much vaccum the carb is pulling....

anybody wanna watch/drink beer/assist with said diagnostic this weekend?

McGee's Auto, in Lake Oswego, OR. (Suburb of Portland)

We have done this for 5 years now. We normaly do a Fri/Sat/Sun thing, meet friday evening for Pizza / BS'ing. Saturday we do the Dyno, then usualy a short cruise, then we party / drink / BS saturday night. Sunday we usualy do a groupe breakfast, and a short cruise if people are up for it, then everyone usualy starts heading home.

As Always, we will provide floor space for people who need places to stay (we will make sure everyone has a place to sleep). We can also help with hotel/motel arrangements as needed.

I'm in. As soon as the date is firm, I can put in for the time off.

I'd like a baseline on the 89 before I start with any mods. If I can get the V6 down there also, I'd like to see what it can do.

Nobody wants my input on the date. Sad

Anytime in January works, I'll chime in about two days before the date and decide if I can bring the car.

Whatever dewmeister did +1 Laughing

Hell, maybe I'll just try tuning the car. Shocked

As far as timing goes, anything works for me. Just as long as I can request the time off before hand, and the car isn't broken I'm all graavy!
