X-mas is almost here.
I was thinking of doing a complete gage swap out on the kids 88 vert.
Maybe Auto Meter gages, He was looking at them the other day.
So if I buy these for x-mas gift, it there anything special I need to look for??? Just buy the high end ones? Mech or electronic?
I think he wants to make a custom dash panel for them anyway.
Is it a problem to swap out the old ones as far as hooking them up and making them work???
Any crewbies done this???? Id like to here about it.
Thanks

| Didn't Paul just do this a couple months ago? I remember pics of it being posted here, but I can't seem to find the topic now. |

Oh man that looks like a wiring nightmare....
Looks good, those are the gages, except want to invert the colors,
Sweet,
ya I love wiring, we still are trying to fix our problems with that harness but been to wet to work on it. The kid doesn't want to drive it in the rain anyway..
Iam sure we have a harness swap issue because the bulk head fitting are wired way diff, so is the 15 way i/p connector.
It’s just a matter of time, waiting on the weather.
I may have to move some equipment over in the shop so we can get the car in there..
Thanks
