Strange thing.... When you turn the wheel in the jeep... there is an occassional "pop" from the front end. Had Brandy out turning the wheel and it wouldn't do it. IF I put ALL my weight on the bumper it does it alot, but I can't tell where it's coming from. Seems like it might be the steering box itself?

Any Ideas B? Something you may have run into over the years?

New drivers side Tie Rod/Sleeve and New trackbar.

Ball-joints? wheel bearings? I'll forward the link to Luke, I'll see if he has any jeep expertise to bring in.

seems like it's coming from higher than the steering components. It's very strange. Stranger that it happens more with weight on the front.

the steering componet joints are known for makeing a poping noise.
the track bar the stabelizer all can make a poping noise. check all the ball joint type connections this is whare it often happens. also check the sway bar links and bushings they can get worn and make this noise use some white lithium greace(spray can type) on the bushings if it goesaway then it is the sway bar bushings.

Why are you dealing with it? Isn't it still under warranty?

jack the front end up and jerk the wheels up down and side to side on each side to isolate the problem.
