ok, now that I have a little extra dough after selling the 85's chassis, I'm going to try to get everything in the Berlinetta and at least be able to get the thing to move under its own power before I have to leave for school.

Got a couple questions that have been rattling around my head before I go foward...

1) anybody with a hole saw willing to pitch in a hand so I can cut a hole in the firewall to mount the hydraulic cylinder that goes to the clutch petal?

2) Anybody with an angle grinder/Sawzall who's willing to pitch in time/tool/effort/.02?

3) The flywheel is getting resurfaced while its out, but I'm going to use the clutch disc and pressure plate that came out of the 85 car...any problems with bad wear pattern being created on the flywheel using a used disc and pressure plate? I'm definately replacing pilot bushing, I just don't want to go out and spend $100 or more on a OEM clutch, Spec, or Centerforce.
With the used disc and pressure plate Should I assume the standard break in period for a clutch?

4) I'm considering a hurst Shifter for the 5 speed, but also looking at a Pro 5.0. I have a little hurst stick that I'd like to use, which is why I"m considering that.

3.) I'd not surface the flywheel until I got a new clutch. Just like brakes... you don't surface the rotor and put used pads on.

4.) Most shifters come with a stick anyways. As long as there are positive stops, I think a shifter is a shifter.
