Someone is intrested in buying the Automatic out of the berlinetta. We've exhanged a few emails today, and he kept asking about an Electronic Speed Sensor. Is the same thing as a Vehicle Speed Sensor? I asked him and he said he wasn't sure, but kept insisting it won't work in his car if the transmission doesn't have it. He said its going in a 1993 Firebird with a LT1. I told him I wasn't sure if mine would work. Is it possible he's looking for something that's electronically modulated like a 4L60E?

I'd like to answer this guys question. Even if he doesn't buy my transmission, I'd still like to at least be able to know exactly what I"m talking about for the future.

Doesn't the VSS run from the tailshaft anyway? He could just swap those out.

Sounds like he's talking about the electric speedo... but beyond that I'm not sure which year they went to the 4L60E.

He emailed me back......he's looking for the non electronic version (4L60 or 700R4). So I think I have what he's looking for.
