I'm considering a second one. If I can get to this lot over the hill from my place when they're open. They have a red '89 RS with T-Tops. Wheels are Z-28 style with red spokes (?) with brushed edges. Couldn't see much of the inside since it has seat covers on the (I assume) original seats, but the rest of the interior is gray cloth. Don't know what motor it has, but it has a 5-speed. Sticker on the windshield says $2997, which I'll have no trouble putting 1//2 or more down.

Sounds like you're the last thing a thirdgen sees before it's dead. Wink

why?
i don't think it's a bad idea, just wondering why you want two? thinking of building the red one as a go-fast car?

The thought had crossed my mind Very Happy Depending on what motor it has, I may do a V6-V8 swap and keep the V6 to play with, or if it has a V8, it will be something to build on. No plans for it to be a daily driver.
The price seems fair as Blue Book on mine is about $3500

That'd be sweet Al! Make one your Purple one your daily/cruiser car. Make the other a minimalist Go-fast car.

go fast perhaps, minimalist... unlikley. knowing all it will have electric door pops and a 90 CD changer with 2X 12" subs, 2,000$ red crushed velvet interior and (if he builds engines like he builds the rest of the car) he will be giving the schultz a challange for king of the red team. Very Happy
