True, but still. Right now I'm at $235 for both cars. Going to try and get it dropped back to what it was before ($186) for just the Ford. Always a hassle though, since they complaign about me retaining ownership of an uninsured car.

WHOA!! WOW. You get caught doing something really bad? Even with my SR-22 Filing, Liability only on my Fairlane is $148/mo and for the 85 Camaro (shhhh they think its a V6 84 sport coupe...) its only $191/mo. Most I ever paid for insurance was for the 2001 when I first got it...$288/mo on my own policy for full coverage.

Um 3 speeding tickets, 1 headlights ticket, and one accident (I was backing out in a parking lot, they were speeding, but WA law says the backer outer is at fault)

This was liability on my 67 pickup too before I got the 2nd maro.

Damn, thats gotta hurt paying that much. Shocked

I think I'm about $115 a month for full coverage on my pickup and liability on Jen's Honda and the camaro.

Of course I'm getting old and my driving record is as clean as a preacher's sheets. Razz

mine is going to be nuts. on my next checkup they are going to find a ticket for "speed racing" and doing 86 in a 55. man i am screwed in$urance wise. Shocked i guess i should not do dumb shizzle. i don't know how chris' is so low. SR-22 and a "speed racing" ticket as well. we do synchronised stupid shizzle. Very Happy

but i have NEVER caused an accident. ever, so i feel that my insurance should stay the same. becuse i am a safe driver... accident wise. since my insurance does not cover speeding tickets i feel they should have no effect on my rate. i know they do becuse people with tickets are more lickley to hit things. but i don't hit things.

You are paying for the other people, with the same number of tickets, who do hit people.

Think about it, insurance company's have to bring in enough money every month, to cover the ammount they pay out in claims, plus opperating costs, plus profit. A large majority of people will always pay more to insurance companies, then they will ever use or get back. That is the nature of the beast.

Now, this is way off topic, I may split this thread later, so the poor guy can try to sell his car.

yeah, i know. if we all paid in what we got out we would all be essentialy self insured and only the super rich can afford that. i knew this guy once who had a verry strong opinion that if you don't get in any accidents that you should get your insurance money back. he just didn't get it. that would be nice though... Taking a OIGA Traffic safety class, 1 accident in nearly 6 years of driving, no speeding tickets(until tony and I "speed raced"...I still dont think I broke traction, shopping around for the cheapest insurance, good credit, are all reasons why my insurance has been cheap. Probably the last two more so than my driving record.

I just can't believe that paul paid that much for liability on that C-10...I never would have. (hense the SR-22...)

Ouch, insurance rates always suck... I've been quoted as much as $2600 for 6 months of coverage in the past, but now I pay $90 a month for full coverage on the 95 and comp only on the GTA...
