14 Inch Cragar rims. 5 lug that will fit on my camaro, i like the 5 spoked ones. I want 14x10 for the rear, and 14x7 for the front. I'd like em to be in decent shape, not broken, no welds, no bends. Dont mind if a little rusty, and if there are no tires on them. If anyone has, maybe we can negotiate. Thanks. _________________ Towed amaro, 2nd engine blown spent $1500 not spending more. <rant>
little tip to make you sound more like a muscle car guy
"rims"=
1.the edge of a wheel. as in "yeah they are nice wheels, but there are some scuffs around the rim"
2. synonym for "wheel" if you are a ricer, or are a thug. as in "check out deez fly as rimz yo!"
"wheels" =
1.the round thing a tire is mounted on. as in "nice wheels, are those cragars?"
in fact, acording to there website (http://www.cragar.com/Product.asp) cragar only makes "wheels", no rims, sorry.
</rant>
anyway, back to topic. do you mean the crager "classics" wheels? looks like this:
if so i must say those would look prety good with some big tires. i always felt they looked more at home on an older mustang or camaro, would be interested to see how they look on a thirdgen.
though, if i were forced to pick any crager wheel (not my style) i would go with a plain old set of steelies. like these:
or you could go with these:
these are a 15" wheel, but whatever. i will have a set for sale prety soon. i freaking hate these wheels, but alot of people seem to realy like them. i see them on almost as much stuff as i see cragars on. and i see alot of cragars. _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

I think they look good on most muscle cars.... but not third-gens. They have bulky lines, and it doesn't match our smoother cars. Although Danked, I know you're really trying to turn your Camaro into an early 70's Mopar or something.
Tony, same thing with those Outlaw rims. I saw a pair of those on a small silver truck the other day, and they looked tight, but not on that Bird.
Edit: Found a pic of what they look like with the late-model ground effects:

that is why i want to get GTA wheels. these ugly things came on the car when i bought it. i see them on WAY too many vans and LUV pickups to like them on my car.

I just sold a set of 14x7 cragar S/S to some guy with a second gen off cragslist. came with pretty good 195x80 14's. The wheels were in so-so shape with a lot of the chrome peeling off and a few rust spots....He gave me $25 for the two I had....

i love the look of those cragars. like mentioned, they really only look good on the older...more classic...muscle cars. i was thinking about getting a set for one of my '69 chargers.
currently ive got a set of those centerlines like tony has on his GTA. i did however get a set of the old style american racing vectors which im gonna run.
-----
the cragars look way out of place on that maro. the centerlines look better. thats what Jake has on his 'redneck' camaro (did you put coat of solid color paint on it yet??).
if you are looking for a more classic muscle car look w/ your ride....well, id recomend yanking the GFX's off and then getting those smaller wheels w/ some fat white wall tires. the 82 Trans Am i have is set up like that.
good luck |

Danked, have you thought about Torq Thrust II's?
That black Formula is my all time favorite third-gen. |
