8 point cage(will need when i run her hard on spray)
front and rear aerospace drag brakes
front tube k frame
tube front a arms
pinto rack
coil overs(maybe)
there is always alot more, if i put it down again it would have to be done by next june to be in it for the race season.

I don't mean to keep beating the same drum, but I notice most the parts on your list is included with my car. Buy my car with all the parts in one shot. Then you don't have to worry about when you can get it all together. Put the parts on your car, swap your old parts to my car and sell it. Talk about low cost of investment!

if i had the money right this minute i would, but i would use your car instead of mine, install my engine and tranny, since yours is alot nicer car then mine right now. just for the fun of it pm me the price for the car rolling no trans or engine.

Most of us start playing with these cars because they are a cheap platform that you can enjoy with little expense. Finding someone around here with $11,000 to drop all at once on an unfinished project that has never been driven is going to be tough. It almost seems like anytime somebody posts something like this looking for some advise, you try and sell them your car. |

I'm not sure if that's a complaint or a statement. Please don't construe my interest in selling as a bragging session about what I've got and other people don't have. I am trying to sell my car and the buyer will be somebody with big plans and a big budget. Anybody outside of that definition won't consider it a deal. Seams like some people here have big plans. I don't know anybody personally so I can't assess if they have big budget. But the picture is developing as I learn more about everybody.

its a great project car, and worth the money as a roller or with the engine/tranny. but most people ( me also ) have a big plans for there cars(and i will get everything on the list done within a year i hope) but most guys dont have that kind of money sitting around for a car i do it i get everything i can check to check.

| I think Rodney is right though, I don't know that any of us exactly have 11K burning a hole in our pockets to buy that car, much as we all might want too. |

also, i think with me anyway most of the fun is building it. now i am not looking for a drag car, i want ssomthing that handles. but even if somone had a car with built suspension that ran awsome times in the autox i think i would prefer to slowly add pieces to my GTA over time then to just buy a finished one outright.
also if i had 11k to spend on a car i would buy a TTA. i would be able to run almost as fast as the BBCbird witha few hundred added under the hood. (terry houston downpipe, turn up the boost a bit ) |

Honestly, I gotta tell you that if I had the cash to buy it, I wouldn't. I'm not a huge fan of the big block thing. The power you get vs. gas mileage and handling you lose aren't worth it. You can blow a smallblock to outperform a bbc, and still turn the car.
Not ot offend any of you bbc guys. |

I am not sure what you are asking?
I have read your post like 4 times, and still don't see the question in there. |

do it once, do it right. then again that is easy for me to say. i have never done anything that has put my car down longer then 3 days. and i have two, so i have never been without a thirdgen for long
i don't know if i could stand not driving one for that long |
