you could just bypass it until the temp starts to drop then do it.

I am constantly amazed at your polite and positive demeanor. You must not have driven your car at night recently. I used my heater the other night with the tops off driving along the Columbia.

Hey, thanks. Very Happy

I don't know how it is for you guys down there, but here it's warm enough at 7:00am to drive in a t-shirt with both windows down on my way to work.

I didn't say I had the heat on, just don't have the tops off - windows are at least partway down Laughing

A good part of it may be due to me always driving with the windows down. Only time they ever go up is if it's raining hard enough that I start to worry about the electronics in my car. Laughing

Well my AC controls aren't completely functional right now anyways. There are two settings; off and full bore. I always have the heat on at least to warm my feet.

I'd bypass it but this is a good time to get quite a few other things done, headers/exhaust, fix the leaking diff cover, fix the crossmember, get the 4thgen dash to an upholstry shop and it may go in the car in a few weeks. Who knows.

And yes, with Mangus' help, Fish's car will be driving for the gathering. Farshin and I finally have the same day off (I've pretty much been working for the last two weeks straight) and thursday should be the day.
