so i drove up to port orchard on sunday to pick up a complete T5 swap from kurfbird. including some intown in hillsboro after i got back (to finish off my tank) i used 22.3x gallons of fuel and travled 690 miles. so i averaged 30MPG. this seams realy high. but i tripple checked my math and recalculated all my fuel recipts. it's right.

i was doing the speed limit the whole way, but i did stick to my usual pattern of accelerting up to speed quickly. i don't get it... seems like the hotter it is outside the better mialage i get......

well, thats all for now. i am currently connected to internet via a pirated wireless signal from one of my fellow appartment dwellers who has an unsecured signal (fools). unfortunatly i can only connect at night... (sunlight actualy has an effect on wireless communication and radio signals, look it up) and so i get about 2 Mbps

Whoa. That's awesome. This was in the 6er?

I've been playing with a new toy. A couple weekend ago Steve and I picked up that 84 CRX. I've been getting a consistent 44mpg in the thing. Even with a dying motor.

Did you include the gas that was already in your tank when you started the trip? That wouldn't be shown in your fuel receipts.

When I do a long hi-way run, i get somewhere between 28-32, depending on conditions. It is all about how well you set up hiway mode in the computer, and gearing.

We need to get to the race track. (and I need to pick up a new nitrous bottle). I **think** I might have a chance at getting to the finish before Rod.

Then I really need to practice! If 13.4-5 is any indication of how fast I'm going to go with the stick I'm going to be very dissapointed. I need new gears too.... oh yeah and axles that wont break.

I was actually thinking of going friday or saturday for a little refresher.

I might be up for friday or saturday. If anything, the practice at launching will be good.

Well, I went 13.4 last year. With the heads, I picked up 25rwhp. So I'm hoping to be in the 13.2 range, or maybe even faster, if can get a 60' time, of better than my normal 2.25.

If Mike's too chicken to go, or finish his rear end and go, you should borrow his bottle. Just don't drop it! LOL

his bottle won't fit in my brackets. I also need to rejet the fuel side of the nitrous, since we changed the fuel pressure.

Hit tony up for that........he'd love to watch you lose to Rod because you broke another axle Wink

I have your "mikes" by the way, let me know when a good time to deliver this beverage would be.

paul if you are for real on needing a trailer i can haul my six to the track on it thatway i can haul you home if you break. but i will need some gas money. that thing gets 10 MPG.

give me a call on my cell (971)6459359. i only get internet access at night right now, so checking this before we go to the track is iffy.
