$500 firm. 5 speed, 3.23 open drum rear, LG4 305
The good:
1) 700cfm Remanufactured Quadrajet by Jet performance with aprox 50 miles on it
2) New coil-in-cap GM HEI distributor with vaccum advance, with aprox 50 miles on it
3) Extra set of 416 Heads
4) ECM and emission wiring removed, but included along with rebuilt CC Q-jet, and computer controled distributor.
5) New Gates belts all around
6) New 170 degree thermostat and Thermostat housing
7) New-er Panasonic stereo with detachable face and speakers. I don't know much about, but it sounds good.
8) Newer OEM clutch and Throwout bearing
9) New headgaskets (fel-pro copper .035) (head and deck surface was also checked for trueness and New fel-pro cork valve cover gaskets.
10) AIR system removed and smog pump removed
11) Flowmaster 80 series 2 1/2" single in/out included
12) Extra RS/Coupe Black Steel hood included
13) Extra Bumper cover with good paint and and rear bumper included
14) T-top car. does not seem to leak, and has newer weatherstripping on it.
15) New battery with 36month free replacement warrenty included
The Bad:
1) Seems to have a sticking or possibly burnt valve or two. Especally poor acceleration when cold, but runs ok when warmed up.
2) Has an exhaust leak from the manifold at one of the plugged AIR tubes and has a fairly decent sized hole in the muffler
3) Floats the valves on highway trips longer than a few miles.
4) Prior owners did not come up with a title, so I don't have it. I do have valid registration/title and the plates for my old 84 Black camaro that could "get you by" if you intend to drive it. I even got ticketed driving this car with the incorrect plates. Cop was none-the-wiser.
5) Spedometer, and gasoline are the only two gauges that worked. Altimeter workes intermittently.
6) No headliner
7) Has damage on the driver rear quarter pannel. I've straightened out most of what's on the quarter pannel. will need the wrap-around portion of the spoiler replaced, and the rear bumper cover replaced. the support behind the bumper seems to be ok.
8) Drivers seat has a small rip in the corner and the carpet is slighly discolored.
You can drive this car home. I would advise against it if you live outside the portland/Vancouver area. I have driven it from Portland to Hillsboro and back and from portland to Gresham and back with no problems. _________________
