If you guys don't mind, I'd like to at least hang out for a bit on Friday night. Java Hut sounds like fun (always tons of cars there)! I'd hang out till you get to Rich's in-laws.
What time is the Peace arch meet? 6-7pm? |

I was just saying, if everyone is meeting up at the other side of the peace arch I can meet up to. If we're all meeting Rich and Dan and going from there, what time do you want everyone there?
My advice for crossing the border (being that I do it frequently):
Stereo off, hats off, be very curtious(!), have all of your paper in hand ready to hand over (DL and birth cert), and get your story straight(who you're meeting, where you met them).
They will ask you these questions:
Where are you going?
Let me see your ID.
How long will you be staying?
Who are you meeting?
How long have you known them?
How did you meet them?
Where are you going?(yes they'll repeat questions)
and then finally,
Have a nice stay!
They are really nice, and much nicer than the american side... |

Looks like the red, white and blue caravan will be up late Friday night/very early Saturday morning.
Brandon and Debbie are going to bring their formula and Paul and I are going to wait and caravan with them. Probably be up there sometime between midnight and 1 AM. Hopefully someone can still meet us there.

I intend to leave early, but after the morning rush. Give me a call when you head out (you have my number, if not I'll PM it to you) and we'll arrange a meeting. |

it only slips when you shift.... you know i have been driving it like that for so long i kind of forgot it was a problem... i should probably drive the reliable one. dang, there goes 25-30MPG hwy. oh well. now i will have a radio too.
so ian, are you still planning on making it to this thing? if so when are you going? you can roll with al and myself so we can atleast be a groupe of three.
EDIT* fish said ian works all weekend, so he can't make it. too bad it was not just a ride issue. we could load him in my car. backseat of a thirdgen FTW!

I'm stuck at the parts counter all weekend long. Hell, Sunday I'm there from open to close. I'm sitting at ~30 hours so far, most of friday will be OT and all of sat/sun will be OT. I feel like I'm building the pyramids or something.
But hell, if you guys get bored you can stop at the schuck's in Tacoma on 6th and pine. Right off the freeway and I'll guarantee I'll be there! _________________

Easy to find. Don't know how often you come up to Tacoma, but do you know where the I-5/WA-16 interchange is? Once you hit that, as long as it's not rush hour you can take Sprague.
If traffic is bad you could cut by the mall (38th st. Exit off I-5) and take Pine.
*Edit: Damn, that Mapquest URL screwed up the page. PMed. |

That would be my best guess as Tony plans to leave the Portland area between 9 & 10 am. He mapquested it at 5.5 hrs, so 5-7 would be a fair estimate. _________________ 92 Camaro
