the rest is common sence, be nice and friendly and they normally are the same, worst case seems to be they send you inside, waste half an hour of your life, search your car, make you fill out papers where you are going, and then send you on your way anyhow

And when they bring you inside... there is a big sign that says "NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS" So they detain you, AND give you a bladder infection. |

Thanks for the hospitality!!! That was a great ride and I was suprised that the V6 did so well, it only lacked for straightline speed and climbing, the twists and turns were great.
Just got home about 1/2 hr ago.

The model B steam machine made it home. Think i've got several problems to sort out now. It's either the new water pump or I've lost a head gasket. Of course it happened while waiting in line at the border crossing. It's pushin the water out of the overflow bottle, even without a thermostat. I also think I'm loosing either the ignition module or my cd ignition box. Hard to believe anything that runs that crappy can pull down over 18mpg turning 3k on the freeway. It's cacklin/missing all the time now. Also think I may have finished off the struts.. or its just my tired driving, but seems much more bouncy around here even.
Anyway, thanks for the place to stay and putting this gathering together. Also thanks everybody who helped me out on the way home. |
