sweet. yeah, we USA crew are used to "steerage" style sleeping arangements. you should have seen brandons place at cows... there were so many people in there the house itself was alive. we took over almost all the rooms with people. |

I am scheduled to work saturday too.
If I left here after work friday (if i could get sat. off), I wouldn't get there until after midnight. And I don't know if I could get monday off either.

I'd like to come, but I'd need to mooch a ride in someone else's third gen...Don't think my car can handle that kind of driving yet, and I don't want to find out it can't all the way up in Canada.

Hey Tony,
For this Canada gathering, are you going to pass thru Bellingham on the way? If so, why don't you call me when you are either passing thru or on the way back and I can give you that stuff for the GTA I keep promising to mail you but cannot seem to remember to do it. Drop me an email.....

Shouldn't be a problem, now that the car is done and looking as good as ever. I'm sure a pit stop can be made in Everett. Even if you're back a school (I think unlikely), I can start at the Bremerton/Seattle ferry and pick you up.
There have been rumors of a plan for everyone to meet somewhere along I5 and make the trek north as a group. Would be neat to have everyone at the border at the same time. _________________ 92 Camaro

i am up for meeting along I5 to groupe up. seems like the p-towners could all meet, head north and slowly accumulate more and more thirdgens as we go. picking up the bulk of you in seattle and then more still as we head farther north. |

If I don't need a passport......I'll go. I'll roll my own third gen, not that I finally got most of the bugs tinkered on it.
Tried the edlebrock 600 today... forgot the truck it was on was a manual choke. _________________

I don't think passports are required until '07, although I'm bringing mine. Still wouldn't hurt to have one or some other proof of citizenship (i.e. birth certificate) _________________ 92 Camaro

a little change in plans for those who would like to stay at my place, we now will have room for anyone who would like to stay out here, we will be staying in the house where my current shop is (inlaws) they are out of town for afew weeks and would like us to look over the place, we said ok as long as we could have everyone over with us , so now we have LOTS of parking for cars and drivers and you can all see my other project
can we get an update on those that are coming and all that fun stuff? _________________

Sounds like theres lots of interest. Well if anyone isn't planing on staying with Rich I'm sure I could find somewhere for you to crash over here. I'm going to do a pre-run this weekend to make sure there aren't any problems with the route. I'll post some pics of my findings.
We have met up just after the boarder before so I don't see a problem with doing it.

I'm in. I have Friday off.
I have several projects to get done between now and then though.
So are the 'southern' folks planning on heading up Friday and going all the way up? Pick up Washington folks along the way and caravan?

I have Friday off also.
There is a rest area on I5 northbound at SeaTac (city of) just north of Tacoma - exit 140 (?), I could meet you guys there unless someone feels they need to stop for gas/refreshments. |
