i picked up a 94 gmc 2500 4x4 for $450 today
its a 5 speed 350 TBI
the body is straight, the interior needs some help
the main bad thing is a rod is knocking
but ive got a good used 350 in my tahoe, thats coming out this summer
and it needs 4 new tires
but for $450 i cant complain |

That will make a fine towing rig for when you build your trailer.
If I catch you on a hill next year in route to cows it won't be pretty.

you got a diesel thou, so more torgue prolly on your end and the 350 im putting in, runs strong, ive been driving it for 3 years now, but it does have 170k on it & no smoke at all
it looks like im gonna be busy this summer with all the swapping |

well i finally got around to taking a pic of the truck that i got
the wheels/tires didnt come on it, i traded an edelbrock performer intake manifold for them
so far im into this project for $582
$450 for the truck
$100 for the manifold (bought it back in 99 or so & never used it)
$32 for all new lug nuts
plus whatever gaskets im gonna need to replace when i do the engine swap
it needs a new steering colum, bench seat & when i convert it to an auto, tranny, crossmember & drive shaft prolly

Damn..... that's tight for $450.
Are you going to swap in an engine, or rebuild the old 350? |

im gonna swap an engine
ive got a motor with like 2k miles on it, that im putting into my 95 Tahoe & the motor in the tahoe is gonna go into this truck, it runs strong, doesnt smoke & has got 170k on it
as this is basically gonna be a work truck, itll last awhile
