Let me know if there is anything I can bring.
The offer still stands for some to stay here for the weekend. Not alot of space, but we'll see what we can do. Staying here does mean using our wonderful ferry system and I have frequent user coupons for car and driver (should have enough) which will save $5.00 each way. Since the show is Sunday, I haven't requested the time off, so assuming I work Friday, I get home at about 6:00pm. |

It's been a while, so I'll bump this with some information.
So far I've got ~8 people (including myself) from this group looking to attend. I'll also be inviting a few of my car buddies (not f-body geeks, but gearheads nonetheless). So right now attendence is tentative at 11. I'd like to see this a bit higher (hey, it's July, there will be cars/food, and beer, hopelly in that order).
We'll BBQ at my place either Saturday afternoon or evening (depending on what the show's lunch BBQ looks like). I'll provide all the food and SOME beer. You guys should plan on bringing any specialty drinks, beer, etc, if you have a preference (I'm a Corona and Hefeweizen drinker myself).
Sleeping arrangements are up in the air, but so far Ian and Al have offered to put some folks up (however both are quite a ways - like an hour+ - from the show and my place). We'll continue to take volunteers along these lines. If need-be, I can get a room at a local hotel if you guys are willing to split (shouldn't be too expensive). |

I'm in.
Since there isn't anything planned Friday I think I will head up Saturday morning. Sounds like we are going to need hotel rooms unless someone else closer to the events are going to host.
Can I get an address posted or PMed so I can plan this out a bit more.
Who from PDX area is going?

I don't know how easy to get hotel rooms will be. We are in the midst of SeaFair events. Since we will be a bit north of Seattle, we should be OK. I still have no problems putting up a couple of the crew, just means a long drive a a ferry ride across Puget Sound.
BTW I need an address so I know where to go once I'm in Edmonds. _________________ 92 Camaro

Awesome guys. So far there are no Friday plans. If we'd like to formulate some Friday night plans, I'll leave that to the others. Otherwise, plan on the BBQ at Everett Mall (the show location) on Saturday - starts at 12pm and goes until 4p. Saturday evening we'll BBQ and hang out at my place (12th Ave W, Lynnwood 98036).
Sunday is the show - 9am to 3pm. Here's the URL:
http://www.geocities.com/~lobird/6th_All_Pontiac_Show.html
If you're going to show your (Firebird) at the show, be sure to send in your show registration. If you haven't yet, you're already too late for early reg, so registration is $15. Registration includes one BBQ meal ticket.
Seafair is the following weekend, so hotels shouldn't be a problem.
Unfortunately I can't put anyone up (sorry!!), but I'm willing to do any and everything else.
It's up to you whether you guys want to stay up in Everett closer to the mall (where the show is), or in Lynnwood, closer to my place (where the BBQ and any potential drinking may occur). There are a number of hotels and motels in and around my place, as well as a ton on hwy 99 (Search on Alderwood Mall Blvd, Highway 99, and 196th Street, all in Lynnwood).
Here's some hits:
Comfort Inn - 4117 196th Street SW, Lynnwood (425) 774-0344
Courtyard-Seattle North - 4220 Alderwood Mall Blvd, Lynnwood, 98036 - (425) 670-0500
Extended Stay America - 3021 196th St SW, Lynnwood, 98036 - (425) 670-2520
Rodeo Inn - 20707 Highway 99, Lynnwood (425) 774-7700
Best Lynnwood Motor Inn - 18109 Highway 99, Lynnwood (425) 778-2808
La Quinta Inn - 4300 Alderwood Mall Blvd, Lynnwood (425) 775-7447
Travelers Inn & Suites - 22127 Highway 99, Edmonds (425) 776-0200
For Everett hotels, search on Everett Mall Parkway
I'm very excited to hear that so many of you will be attending. |

Since I don't have a pontiac and won't be bringing a car anyways, I think I"m gonna sit this one out. If tony is willing he can do delivery on some of the parts you guys in the Pugeot sound area requested.
Blue89: If it isn't urgent for you to have the sway bar right away, and you'll be at this event, I can leave it with someone in the crew going up, just a thought to save you a little $ on shipping. _________________

Even if something goes down Friday and you can't make it for it, we'll see you on Saturday! (Right?)

gahhh..... i am trying to work this out, some buddies and i have been planning on rafting the dischutes for like 3 months... now all of the sudden we changed it to the last weekend of july instead of this next weekend... and i realy want to go to both. it might end up that i miss the satarday shinnanagins and only make it down for sundays fun (i would get in LATE sat)
not for sure though. if chris ended up coming i might consider blowing off the rafting... this chick that was going to be there is no longer coming either... so i don't know |

So lots of dudes don't want to come up friday night?
If people want to crash here for a night I can host them. It's kind of boring but movies/beer/pizza or something.
I say we crash a bunch of people here or wherever, meet up saturday morning, do gokarting wherever Al has suggested, maybe a lunch/cruise and then BBQ at Mangus' place. Crash at a hotel or back/my place/Al's (I can chip in for some rooms or something). And then the show on sunday.
Al, what/where was the place you were suggesting? _________________

It's in Mill Creek/Bothell on the Bothell - Everett Highway (527), not far from where the show is. _________________ 92 Camaro

That sounds good (Ian/Al). I'm also up to pony up a few bucks to split a hotel room for the out-of-towners. Whatever it takes to make sure people have no excuses. =)
The place Al mentions is just a few miles from my place.
Farsh pointed out that the show's BBQ on Saturday is for registered show participants. He's going to call and verify (and see what can be worked out there). Worst case we move the BBQ at my place up a few hours. Either way, fun will be had.
Now if only his flexplate would get magically replaced between now and then... |
