Best I could ever do with my 305 TPI IROC from '85 (had the most 305 HP till the 90's IIRC) was a 15.2 with a 2.0 60FT.
That was stock save: Air Foil/K&N/Tune UP/Ported Plenum/Flowmaster. |

Were you out at PIR? How were conditions? Wish I could've made it out I want to see what my car can do.
Looking at the PIR's schedule they've got TnT next sunday all day and open at 9am. Hopefully I can get out there then. _________________

PIR(Portland International Raceway) is a long drive from Maple Valley. Do you mean PR (Pacific Raceways)? |

That's pretty good for what you have done to her.
Look at it this way, your only like .8 tenths and 25 mph off of Mike's times with his Red Sled. |

i was very satisfied wiht my times lol i read somewhere that a profesional driver in a stock 85 iroc z is a 15.2 1/4 mile me being an amateur with mods i did a 15.1 (also noticed when i was sittign in the lanes my tranny fluid looked kinda burned and dirty so my tranny prolly wasnt running tip top) but the point is i stomped a mustang 5.0 that was sitting behind me in line the whole time he was talkign shizzle about 3rd gens to his buddies and then i spanked him lol he had a beter r/t but but my iroc pulled like crazy on his ass through first and passed him in second... lol f***ing mustangs why do they think theyre faster then camaros/firebirds? _________________ Cadillac of Bellevue

Because they're lighter and the 88-93's from the factory had 225hp and 260ft /lbs torque. And Ford guys are just jealous.................
I think its funny that 1979 was when the Foxbody mustang was introducted, but the 1979 Camaro (a LARGE AND HEAVY second gen) ousold them 3:1. _________________

No, I'm working that morning. I actually just realized that I still don't have a battery tie-down in my car, so I probably wont even make it as far as the track unless I get that fixed. |

i don't care if a guy in a foxbody can do 9 flat. i STILL like my 15+ second GTA better. it has style. the fox mustangs look ugly as hell. it's no wonder we outsold them 3:1. |

Best times at the Track were as follows:
R/T .291
60' 2.157
1/8mi 9.62@ 72.4mph
1/4mi 15.42@ 89.6mph
Those were in the 3.8L/5sp 4th gen....with just K&N/Flowmaster with 2 1/2catback. _________________
