No longer parting this car.....
Will consider selling/trading the Z/28 hood for a Coupe/Berlinetta/RS steel hood, that is black in color. _________________

how much do you want for the colum? my 2.8 has two bad items in it's colum, a turn signal switch and the wiper delay switch, does everything like that work on yours, and does it have wiper delay?
also, does anyone know if 84 and 86 colums are compatable? and would it be harder to do the entire colum, or take the doner colum apart and swith this stuff out? seems like the whole colum would be easiest. let me know what yall think.
EDIT* if you want to maintain your camaros "roller" status i will gladly give you my messed up colum, that way you can still move it. it works great except for those two switches that are out. _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

No delay on the wiper's Tony, they're 2 speed, W/O cruise. If you're still intrested, $20 for the column. _________________

You'll have to re-grease the shaft, if you take the column out and want to put it back in, kind of a PITA, but with a little patience and a friend to hold it from the inside, its about a 20-30 min job. I just did it yesterday (ironically) with a buddy holding the column inside the car in place. _________________

Why don't you just swap switches? Take the wheel off, pop the lock mechanism off, and you're pretty much there.
Easier than pulling the whole column IMHO. |

sounds good to me. they are two speed now (cause it's broken). at least the turn signals will work again, and the two speed knob on your colum will make it look like all is hunkey dorey. do you want my colum to put in? if so we could swap em together. that way we could hold each others colums in place. ( you know i worded that sentence three different ways and this one was the least dirty)
when could we do this? i get my car out of the detail shop today. it's nice and pretty out today as well.i could probably be ready to roll around 3pm if you do not work today. |

Agreed. Once you've taken a GM Tilt column apart and re-assmebled it you pretty much "get it" and since they're all pretty much the same B/T 1969-1986 you can do it on almost any GM car. _________________

hey quasi! i thought of a few more things i need.
a lock leaver (the bit that you touch when you unlock the door) for the drivers side. mine is broken, so EVERY TIME i get out of my car i static shock myself. it's rediculous.
do you have an AC heater box still or a non ac one? i need a non ac one. so does asdfga3 (let the bidding war begin:twisted: )
black things that go on the hatch struts. those beauty covers that cover the torx bolts, i need two of them. |

I have the lock lever for my old black drivers door. Do you just need the black plastic cover or do you need the whole rod? Call it Free if you help me with the window and steering column today. I'll give you the rod too. Its no good to me. _________________

I'd sell you the non AC box, but someone's already laid claim to it. If you wanna pay more than $45 for it, you can have it, but I know you can get one out of U-pull it, and there's one wrecking yard out off 26 towards Sandy that has 3 non-ac camaros, they'll let em go for like $15 each. _________________
