Hello there,
My name is Ron Vastak and I am glad you are interested in my Camaro listed on Craigslist.
I want to let you know all the details of the transaction from the beginning to make everything clear.
Since I'm very busy, travelling a lot in USA with business, I have chosen and paid the eBay program to take care of all the proceedings ,so the car is now in their inspection team possession in San Jose,CA. Since I paid all their fees, the total price is $ 5,800 (including all the shipping costs). The transaction will be backed by their program.
Please note that the car was listed on Craigslist and not eBay! I am just using the eBay protection program (offered by eBay only to some of their best customers).
HOW THE PROCESS WORKS: The EBay team has inspected the car and all the papers and they are ready to ship it (or allow an inspection) ONLY to the person that makes a down payment of 50% of the money ($ 2,900) to them.
After eBay receives your down payment confirmation, they will keep and secure it until you receive the car and test it for 3 days. If you decide to keep the car, eBay will send the money to me (and you must send the balance), if not they will send your money back. But I assure you it won't be necessary ,as the car is in a very good condition, runs great, has only 46,300 miles and clean title.
Since I want to finish this deal ASAP, I will require to the eBay team for their fastest payment and shipping method so you can receive the car in 3 days at the most after you make the down payment.
So, if you agree with this method, email me back with your full name and shipping address and I will provide them to eBay ,in order to start the process, and they will get back to you with more details.
Regards,
Ron

Those are the kind of auctions where you shouldn't even have to ask.
My friends and I have a mutual acquiantance who sent a guy 2400 dollars for a motorcycle that didn't exist. A 2002 R1 yamaha for 2400. Yeah right.
Oh well, that guy made off really well. _________________

I had one bad auto buying experience off E-Bay, and after that I decided I'll never buy a car sight unseen. _________________

| Same thing though. If you put cash down on a car without even taking a test drive, you're asking for trouble. |

If you put cash down on a car without even taking a test drive, you're asking for trouble. | I put $5k on my scion without testing it, had 1 mile on it when I bought it and I've been happy with it for the year I've had it, but its no RWD V8, no haggling, no bs, just put 5 down and was out the door in an hour or two
however, on a used car, yes, I'd have to agree _________________

| I was reffering to used, yes. New car dealers can't pull that type of BS, or they'd be run out of town. |

Guy I know did the same thing for an 04 busa when they first came out. Supposedly it was only 3800...
I kicked him for being so stupid. |
