Bah, I work Sundays and Wednesdays.
I'm gonna have to get a schedule change, or at least a day or two off and come down. I want at least a couple passes to see what this new car will run. |

you have 224 HP? i have 176. thats funny, when we raced of the line on the way to mikes you only started to pull away at like 30. perhaps that has somthin to do with my "mad skillz" at the wheel |

TPI torque = fun off the line.
How much "mad skillz" do you need to launch an auto?
I want to get some practice launching.
Think a cop would be cool with that in an empty mall parking lot?

well, LB9, thats a TPI 305...you changed to a HSR, but you do still have fuel injection... that counts as TPI for basic purposes. i never realised you had a 5.0. i always assumed it was a 350. am i the only guy on the bords with a 350 (if thats true it's kinda funny that i am the lowes HP V8 ). mike has a 350right? to the rides page!
EDIT, oh yeah, mike has a 383.
EDIT acoording to rides page, sellman, project86ta, z28chick, rjmcgee, and camaro350z28, all have 350s. chesyx has a 406 . so i am the coolest guy with a 350, but not the only. (note: mike i did'nt count you when i made that "coolest" remark, as yours is a 383 )

bone-freakin-stock. it's kinda odd. off the active "gathering-going" members on this board, the 305 guys are almost all faster then any of the 350 guys. (again excluding Mike "350s are wussy" Schultz.)
example: twilightoptics, dewey316, iansane. all moded 305s. all faster then me. xophertony, sellmanb. mostly stock 350s. both slow as hell. (sellmans do to headgasket or somthing right?)
anyway, mine is on it's way. |

I'm pretty sure Paul doesn't have a 305...
So I think just the lama and I. If only I could tune... |

311hp vs 224hp.
I think on juice john's 305 is around Paul's.
Thread hijack?
So do we want to make march 19th an official thing at PIR? I can try to get the day off and everyone can meet up there or near there. I think a bunch of the ls1tech guys are going then as well. |

Umm.. hmm. I think you have a few people who'll race you now Tony, maybe even for money.. I think both Paul(twilightoptics), and Rodney(rjmcgee) will. They're both between 305-310 n/a with 350s. John is right there when he's on the bottle. Maybe with the new heads its possible he's even more now. They were all running low 13s @107 or so. I've watched Paul go run after run at 13.01 @ 107.
Not a 350 but mines 327. This year my power was a bit down even though the butt dyno said it was better. Did find my pinion bearing was seizing however and had to do a total rear end build weekend after dyno. My first dyno was 227hp/266tq with it. At the time that put me in 3d place! LOL
Mike's original l98 put down around 230 and so did the canadian mikes(cheezy) 305tpi. Most have really made changes since then. |
