Made an apointment at Les Schawb's to have my brakes bled, and wheels aligned today, so I drop it off, they say "we'll have it done by tommorow" and so I drive it home immediately. I didnt think they were THAT busy that they could bleed some brakes, and do an alignment (all of which are one man jobs for them). Oh well, I may try bleeding my brakes tonight and get my alignment "close enough" by eye. right now, after the lowering, the alignment is WAY messed up. And I did a brake job before the motor blew up, and never got around to bleeding the brakes (and I can tell).
I also need to put my old dash back in (harder than it sounds lol), and center console... I may end up stealing a stock dash and wiring harness when the junkyard dries up (i have a digital dash stock).
And I went to go mess with the timing today, had the car running while I was doing it (obviously), and all of a sudden the coolant starts bubbling in my overflow and goes way over the maximum line.... sooooo now I'm worried it wont even start tommorow due to a head gasket or something lmao.
I'll bring the truck again if the Camaro wont start |

As for power, I still dont quite know, judging by the power output, and the amount of blowby I'm guessing I have a couple dead cylinders.
It ended up overheating (a bad hose clamp apparently? I think it has to do partly that the fans arent kicking in now for some reason... I prolly burnt through that wire).
The oil leak must have just sprouted on the dyno. It's probably on the intake near the front china wall, but it could also be a little lower at the head, I still need to take a closer look at it. Luckily for me, this isnt but a once every other month driver (as you could tell probably haha). It wasnt really ready to dyno (or drive that far lol), but I took it to support the crew
I do, it's sellmanb@hotmail.com
Sorry I couldnt stick around, had to be at work at 1 |

Hey Bob it was good to see you again. Sorry that you couldn't hang out but totally understandable. We appreciate you getting the car there. As you experienced, Steve (the owner of McGees) is a great guy and we like to make sure that we keep our commitments. I know that you scrambled to get the car there. Of course we will never stop teasing you about driving with one hand and holding your speedo in the other

Steve really is a nice guy, he probably wouldnt have allowed me to dyno that in many other circumstances. Have to say that I envy his job a little though lol. Anyone else spot that LS1 Bel Air one of his customers is having made "for the Mrs. "... SIIIIICK |

meh. no biggie. the stock one fits fine on the 4th gen consoles. it just sticks up a little bit. not a big thing at all. my 86 has been like that for two years |
