For those of you with clutches... thats an eye opener. You always hear about these things but pictures really tell the story. Doesnt say if the guy kept his feet.

Most definitely feel good about the scattershield. Any expense pales in comparison to lack of feet.

I lost a clutch in my 55 about 30 years ago like that. Had a full on DZ 302 out of a 69 Z28 maro in it with 5.38 gears. Didn't lose the flywheel, but the clutch parts themselves tore everything up pretty well, including cutting Wanda Richardson's foot up pretty good. Was hell to pay when I got her home to her mom Wink

I agree, I think no more go faster goodies until I buy a scatter shield.

i never knew this could happen !?!?!? wow Shocked there is no risk of this on a stock or slightly better then stock setup is there?

There is always that risk when dropping the clutch at 6000 rpms. I have seen it a few times.
