I'm putting the battery in the back of the car and running all the cables.... and I'm 1 foot short!

I'll have to go pick up another foot and a half tomorrow. EVERYWHERE That sells 1ga welding cable in Vancouver closes at 5pm.

I can straight run the cable now though to see if everything works, just not enough to tuck it away.

DOH!

That sucks man! I always tend to overdo it when it comes to that kinda stuff, down side is I end up with an extra several feet of everything! I guess thats why I should keep my measuring tape a lil closer! lol.... Where did you mount your disconect switch?

Mounted my switch here. Had to notch the cover a bit as you can see. I'm not sure what I'll do about the interior pieces yet. Since I couldn't fit the box behind on the trim where the spare tire went, I care less about what it looks like back there. May just notch the back panel for the switch/wires too! Ever since I got a car with the hatch motor, I just find it's more hassle than it's worth. Less space, more mechanics to go wrong. My '85 was great without it!

With the switch here, I can pop the cover off for the track, and put the cover on for street driving so no one screws with my power! Of course it's not failsafe, if someone wants to screw, they'll screw lol.

Damn that looks mighty familiar! LOL thats the same place I put mine. Works so much nicer then having the switch out in the elements where someone can mess with it!
