Yes, I know it's techinically past midnight now, but I wanted to thank every veteran here for serving our country and wish them a happy veterans day and a great veterans day weekend.

Remember, old Marines never die, we just get re-deployed to a new theater of operations.

Another one of those things that people take for granted everyday. Sometimes I'm one of them. Sad

Thanks vets!

Thank you for serving USA

Both those in the crew, and the millions more who aren't in the crew.

You protect the freedoms that too often we take for granted.

Dewey............this thread is a year old, but you remembered it and us. Thank you for that.

My father served on Okinawa, my wifes father got a bronze star fighting the Japenese and was personally decorated by General Hap Arnold. I put my 5 years in with Uncle Sam's Misguided Children, my oldest son served in the Army in desert storm repairing Patriot missle batteries, and my middle son served on the USS Saratoga in desert storm also.

We live in the Land of the free Because of the Brave.
