So I happened upon some projector truck headlights, those ones from EBAY for like 125 bucks, made for GMC/Chevy early nineties full size pickups. AKA, I ordered them for my dads pickup and they wouldnt fit it, so he got pissed, the seller wouldn't give us a full refund, so he gave them to me....begrudgingly....what a dad.

SOOOO....I spent a day at the car lot ignoring customers and harley riders to install my lights. They have been on her for a week and I will never go back. There is a gap now, but I used it to my advantage as a ram air duct for my dual snorkel. Overall, the difference for me is being able to see anything coming at me. I have this history with raccoons out here. Two confirmed kills, and three are at the very least now collecting disability.

Here is one pic, not the best...I'm gonna take some more.

Just raccoons? Best thing i've hit was a couple of bunnies gettin it on in the middle of the road. Xmember on my 72 velle was a bit low so not much left.. but what was, was smiling!

Hmm.. doesnt quite sound right.. but I will say the animals had revenge on that car later. As in a deer. He got away and took my pass mirror with him.

im interested in seeing more pics of the lights... im not sure what a projector headlight is.

haha i myself have 1 racoon. 80mph on backroad at night, barely have chance to blink after you see it. one other night i almost took out about 5 or 6 ducks. i was going about 60 on hwy 99 and all the sudden i see a truck load of ducks just wandered out enough for my right wheel to plaster them and i swerved out of the way. thank god nobody else was around that would have prevented me from being able to swerve safely. haha im sure the gust of air blew them all over the place but thats gotta be better than being underneate my wheels.
