I went out to drag race today in my 84 T/A made consisted runs made it to the finals and got beat by a 68 chevy p/u due to i broke the tranny mount while hitting 2nd gear (i thought i had a major malfunction). My best time was at 14.19 in the qtr and it varies between .3 to .9 on my reaction time. During the race I have ran into many 3rd and 4th gen cameros and firebirds with many configurations for example a 87 twin turbo tpi 350 trans am and a 2002 ZL 402 stroker SS Camero convertable. Many of them were interested in finding out about our club and web site. I'll have pics and movies when i can get them. The pylon race there was awsome.

Nice times Big Daddy - what is your combo?

That sound when the tranny mount lets go and the trans is slamming on the tunnel is NASTY!

Might go quite a bit quicker if you shift around 5500 rpm or where the cam peaks. 7500 is spinning. Shocked
