yeah... I said it... Harry Potter ...
got home from work todayand it was sitting upon my doorstep (along with some other things)... I brought everything inside, and promptly ignored everything else and opened the box with the book...

I must say, I felt like it was christmas, I've been waiitng for the book for a good length of time now, and am currently 200 pages in...

so far its got more twists thrown at you than a noose, but its a damn good book and was well worth the wait. 3 am and I don't want to go to bed, but i figured i'd take a break, get some water, and see what time it was...

I don't think I'll make it till November for the 4th movie Shocked

I'll open everything else later, once I'm finished with the book (I'll probably finish it tomorrow LMAO ) ... hoooray for lenses, memory cards and other camera stuffs!!

Neeeeeerd! Very Happy

Honestly, I haven't even seen any of those movies. I'm guessing it's pretty addicting?

Few friends of mine are halfway into the book and have mostly lost interest.

Just finished the book... I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it yet... some of the magic that was in the other books is missing, yet its still a good read and fairly surprising.

granted, people shouting too and fro the spoilers of the book didn't help any, so I think that sort of took away from it as well Sad

I saw one of the movies with an ex-girlfriend once. I thought it was one of the most ridiculous movies ever.

Different Strokes for Different Folks.

personally i'm not a fan of too many chricton books lately, the last good one I read was Airframe, he's had a few more since then, and never really got into Grisham much...

I'm usually into horror or sci-fi/fantasy stuff though so this is right up my alley... in the last two months I've read potter books 1-6, and all 7 Timothy Zahn star wars novels ... yeah I'm el nerdo maximus Surprised

it was hard for me to put the book down, I got it about 4pm monday afternoon, read about 60 pages and went back to work, then got home around midnight, and read till I posted this thread... woke up at noon tuesday (today I guess, for you guys), and finished the book with an hour and a half to spare before I had to go to work.

I'll re-read it again in a week though I'm sure, make sure I didn't miss anything, and I'm sure I'll re-read the entire series for the hell of it again afterwards.
