Hey everyone!!
I just came back home from my world cruise, thanks to the us navy and now have a bunch of money and plans for my TA. I'm looking at picking up a 400sbc from the engine warehouse out of Renton, WA. Wondering IF anyone knows anything about this company. The price I have gotten from these guys are just over $1700.00 to my door. I'm hoping to start this late next week or early the next.
thanks allot |

The $1700.00 includes the long block (9.2.1 compression and flat top pistons) , complete balance, RV cam, 7 year/70 mile warr. and shipping to my door.
Also how big of a radiator will I need to keep this engine cool? |

A v8 Radiator for our cars will keep it cool just fine with proper fan/shroud setups.
Good warrenty. Definitely a plus.
For $1700 I'd hope that it would have a better cam than an "RV" cam... what heads are on there? You'll be lucky to make 220hp with that setup IMHO. Find out what they want for a shortblock.
If it's around $800... then spend $800 on some heads and buy a cam and you'll be much happier. |
