I recall a few conversations with fellow crewbies about getting a no front plate initiative rolling in this area. And well, some VW guys have actually gotten one started, well they need the 250k signatures to get it on the ballot first:

I definately like that idea.
 Did anyone see the initative right below that? Allowing kids to right "pocket rockets" ?

dude i want to take mine off badly, im scared tho. one ticket and i dont know if i could afford the insurance.

have mine off never had any problems.. also.. it shouldnt raise your insurance at all its not a moving violation so it would not effect it..

yeah i guess... i have had mine off for 2 years and have even got pulled over just never gotten a ticket or even a mention on the plate.
