Putting my new plug wires on today I decided to check the dizzy cap. Was pretty corroded. Repalced it and the rotor. Checked timing when it was all done... was at 3ºBTDC rather than 6. So I set it back to six, hopefully that doesn't skew my tune too much, or the timing was off from the new cap/rotor. I had checked it not too long ago before hitting the dyno for tuning.
Here is a shot of my looms. I custom made the brakets and welded them to the header. You can't really even see them. I put some heat resistance stuff on there just incase. The looms are supposed to be heavily heat resistant. It's nice to have the air tubes out of the way. Someday I'll yank these off, smooth the nubs down and have them coated.
When I don't have to replace stereos and consoles from being broken in to
It really cleaned up the bay having the wires out of the way and off the valve cover, and now I can yank the valve covers in a heartbeat. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Had red on there before. The blue ones I had once melted after about 10miles. I've got the best of both worlds Dan don't worry.
There is plenty of blue to be had on the ol Moo-Roc |
