Well I just got word today that the Skamokawa Fire Dept. has decided to hold the car show afterall. This means I now have a date for PWC 05! Everybody's welcome June 4, and 5th. I'll take the 3d and 6th off so early arrivals and late leavers are welcome. I figure we'll do the car show again on Saturday, then barbeque that night. Sunday we'll head for Mt. St Helens. People who arent staying Sunday night can catch the freeway again when we come down off the mountain. |

Where is the show located. (by that I mean what is the closest large city) I wouldn't mind checking it out even though my ride isn't quite show worthy.

What he's trying to say is that Skamakowa is 30-40 miles west of Longview. Of course, it's not like he's been there many times, so I wouldn't expect him to remember. |

Don't worry bout show worthy. The judges are all hotrodders with no clue on 3d gens anyway. Show's divided by decades so our group will basically be in its own class. Actually we'll have 2 classes, 80's and 90's. Other then a couple of vettes theres usually no one else. They also have stock, and modified for each year range. What'd we bring home last year, 3 or 4 trophy's for the crew?
Even Bart entered his car, and wore a purple tutu all day. The car show is more of a fund raiser then anything. |

Well, John and I took 90's modified and 90's stock respectivly. And Paul and Rodney took the 80's modified and 80's stock trophies IIRC. _________________ '88 Formula

Yes, a 90 RS will be in the 90s category. On the plus side you'll compete against fewer cars, but you'll also be one of the oldest cars in that category. It's a fun little show, if the weathers decent. We will all be parked together, so we kind of take over a section. Usually we're across the street from the hotrods. There are 2 major hotrod clubs that come to this event. Gearlords, and the Beach Barons. There is also a prize for coming the furthest, which maybe one of our Canadian members can win this year? Rodney was just short last year. |

EDIT: Careful for the site linked here, the ads and content are not always work/family safe.
If anyone shows up with this kinda rig I'll know things have gone too far... first hopped-up mowers, then this...
