This place is dead. What happened to everybody?

I know chevymad is still around, and Aaron became a hippy. But that doesn't account for the rest of you.

Think they've all passed out from carbon monoxide. Try as I might no one ever wakes up.

Oh I've always been a hippie. What did you all think the beard was for? Laughing

I suspect everyone got measles and died.

Seems plausible.

Jokes aside I am curious to see how people's projects are turning out. Derrick had a decent SBC build, Al had a T56 swap going, Skyler had a turbo LM7 going together, and probably some more I'm forgetting. Are the damn kids posting cars shizzle on Pintrest now?

Maybe they all got abducted by aliens. That happens to a lot of third gen owners after they get drunk.

As dead as this place is, I personally don't care if you post rx7, motorcycle, ford f150 or music projects. Welding or whatever. Lets see what everyone's doing now.

I picked up a new Crate 300 watt tube amp last week and jammed yesterday with the band. It's a freakin' beast! I've been upping my soldering skills. Picked up a very highly regarded Acoustic 370 amp also broken for $50. They normally go for about $600. Fixed it in 10min. 5 string bass, new pickups custom. And a 4x15 Sunn Cab that I just loaded shizzle nasty full range speakers. Much heaviness!

So what do you do all winter John?? Laughing

Sweet electronics projects Paul. I've been eyeballing alot of vintage hi fi stuff but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Would really like to get something like an old sansui tube reciever/amp and a nice turntable.

Meanwhile I've done a few electronic projects on my old Atari computer. I have more fun building and modding then actually using the thing though. And of course mechanically been modding the hell out of the jeep.

Oh and Paul, we need a sound clip!

Normally I would be skiing. But, we don't have any snow.

Instead I have way to much time to plan crazy trips for this summer.

Some slow progress on the camaro as well, some day I'll tip my hand on that stuff.

I haven't done much with Camaro. Most of last summer the speedo was jacked. Once I figured out what was wrong with it, the weather turned to crap. Had a nice day last week, went to drive it and wouldn't start due to battery. Rolling Eyes

Been working on this...

I also bought this.

Then Ive also done some of this. n this..

Hopefully all the links work.

:edit: holy large picture batman, plus not all my links are working Confused

My 350 is running pretty well, about 10k miles on the rebuild now, havent gotten out to the track yet, havent been able to dyno it yet... I really should get someone who knows what theyre doing to help me with some tuning on the EBL, I am no guru.

I think Al's T56 is up and running great.

Skyler's 5.3 is still on the garage floor Pokey pokey

Chris is loosely looking for a '78-up malibu wagon for his motor to live in.

OH! and I bought a cop car. lol

I like to go fast.

And make cars look weird.

The 'turd is fast enough to scare me still so I haven't upgraded it in awhile. I'll get used to the power eventually and shoot for the 4 digit mark.

My first bmw 325 is running great. I've been sourcing parts for an LS swap of course. (I can put that motor in EVERYTHING!) Actually the motor is an aluminum 5.3.

The newest project is a bit of a confused duck. E30 based pickup.
It was this.

At this point it's this.

with parts from an s10, 4runner and actually some sheetmetal from the water heater I just replaced.
