OK ok.
I know, I have not done a great job of cordinating this year... BUT
I finaly have info.
I talked with Steve Hanio today.
March is pretty busy for him, he already has 1 dyno day + the big PDX Swap Meet.
So, I wanted to get a feel for how early april looks. The 2nd he is doing the swap meet, so that weekend is out. He said other than that, everything looks good.
He has also made a slight change in the pricing. This year will be $65 per car, for 3 runs.
BUT, there is a plus. It is not dependant on us having 15 cars, so if only 13 show, it is still $65.
I would like feedback, and a vote on what day you would prefer. I need to make sure we make it worth Steve's time to do this for us. So we need to have another strong showing of cars.
Thanks everyone.
A quick reply is always nice, so we can get our name on his calander. _________________

Would be awsome to combine the dyno and then drag racing afterwards |

by then only the 91Z will be ready to run, and with it being stock I don't see much point in dynoing, but I would still like to get together with you all(maybe qalittle closer untill I get all the bugs worked out of it)
if the 90 Vert was finished I would forsure want to dyno it

Do we only have 2 people who have a prefernce on a date?
I hope there is more interest in this. Maybe I should revamp this. If we hold the Dyno April 8-10. How many people are planning on attending, and how many people are planning on Dyno'ing? |

I would probably dyno the bike if Steve's setup could do it. |

At this point none of those dates are better than another. I will put her back up on the dyno assuming everything is running. Need me some rings and a hardcore exhaust .

Any weekend works for me, as I work Sunday-Thursday with Friday and Saturday off.
If you guys don't mind I'd like to dyno my Sprint to see what kind of power it's putting down. I'm expecting 250 hp and 330 ft-lbs minimum, the engine was factory 'rated' at 370 hp and 510 ft-lbs. But before I do I'll need to fix the broken frame stand.
I've got a few questions about the dyno as I havn't been to one before, though I did show up to last years right as everything was being put away. What's the word on minor oil leaks? Is there a fan placed in front of the vehicle to simulate wind at 'highway' speeds? Since I don't have a tach, will there be something that I can read off of to tell me what I'm revving at? Are all runs performed in drive (1:1 rato)?

No rules about what you can bring Charlie. Normally we have some trucks, 4th gens, vettes, etc. If needed Steve can use a fan in front of the car. I have only seen him do that on boosted applications. They use and inductive clamp on the #1 spark plug for RPM IIRC. Regardless, they will be able to show what RPM you are at. Runs are performed in your 1:1 gear ratio.
oh and I believe the word on minor oil spills is 'ewww'

Edit to change to the 2nd choice. Jen can't get the Friday before the first choice off and that would mean driving half the night to get there Saturday morning.

Any look good for me. But a new employment situation might change that. So, my status for showing up is pending. And even if I can make it I dunno if I could shell out the $65 for it.
You regulars can set-up a schedule that works for y'all and I will plan around that, it makes more sense then me voting for a date that works for no one (does that make sense?) _________________
