Whenever you want! The Cascade Crew is a pretty relaxed and informal club with no dues or officers. As an informal club the organization of events is up to the membership at large. So, you want to meet some like minded 3rd gen owners in your area, host a gathering.

You think you might want to organize a gathering? Here are some common questions, and their answers:

What do I need to do?
All you need to do is take charge. Make a post on the Event Calendar board with the What/When/Where.

What makes a good gathering?
A gathering can be as simple as meeting to go get a burger; or as complex as a four day tour of Whistler BC with scheduled restroom/fuel stops and a meticulously planned route.

some examples include:
a track day where we meet at a racetrack and run the cars down the drag-strip.

A "meet and greet" where we all show up somewhere around a specific time and hang out, either at someones house, a restaurant/bar, parking lot, or public place.

Cruise. We all show up somewhere, drive as a group to a specific place, or along a scenic route, and then go our separate ways.

Work day. Someone has a project, and a bunch of us show up to help/drink beer and watch. More of the drinking tends to happen than the working.

Feel free to get creative.

I don't live in Portland/Seattle, will anyone want to come to my gathering?
While most of our gatherings take place in Portland or Seattle that is because most of the members live in those areas. We have had gatherings as far south as Klamath Falls, and as far north as BC Canada. You schedule something, people will make the drive. If it's more than a day event you can help attendance by being willing to offer a couch to the out-of towners.

How far in advance do I need to schedule an event?
The more advance notice the higher attendance is likely to be. Most day events seem to be scheduled a few weeks out, most weekend-long gatherings are scheduled at least one and a half months in advance.
