Torque arm is one of the biggest improvements to these cars short of SFCS. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

I can't say it was that noticeable in daily driving, normal cornering was obviously not affected much but anytime you were putting power down, like pulling away spiritedly from a stop or downshifting and nailing it to pass someone it was noticeable. It made the power delivery feel more surefooted and seemed to better control the rear axle. Not to mention the benefits of getting the torque arm off of the tailshaft. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

After relocating my torque arm off the tail shaft, I noticed that the shifter doesn't rise up near as much in the console during hard acceleration. _________________ 92 Camaro

Heck with that. I see a for sale thread with prices and I can put money in Aaron's pocket right now. I'm not playing second place to somebody that waves a hand over everything and thinks it will be held while they try to figure out how to come up with the cash. Sorry if people don't like it but that's the real world. Of course, Aaron can choose to do whatever he wants (it's still all his stuff no matter what) but that's my opinion. |
Wow, just wow. Just take it down a notch there, please. From the looks of it, those comments were directly aimed at me. I'm not "waving my hand" over anyone, I didn't ask to hold anything for me, and I don't need time to "come up with the cash." I simply stated the items that I was interested in. There's plenty of other things that I was considering purchasing at the moment as well. I can't fund my entire build in one day so I need to prioritize my purchases. I understand that this is a first come first serve kind of thing and I hope no one else got the impression that I was "calling dibs" over others. I apologize if thats how my post was perceived. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

All I wanted was the WB AFR, Founders mounts, and shocks.
If you still have the dif maybe we can make a deal. |

That is a sweet dif. I had a 9 bolt for a long time. It lasted until I stopped changing the fluid at the recommended 7K interval, then it burned up.
but now I have a torsion. |

7K what now? Put like 25K on the one in my IROC and never changed the fluid. Doubt the guy before me did either.
Axle is pending. |

yeah, the 9 bolt positraction rear end has a manufacturer recommended fluid change interval of 7K miles... or so I was told at some point. It could have just been my rear end's time (snicker) but it seemed to correlate with when I let the fluid go for like 25K. |

I got the same 9 bolt in my T/A. 250K on it and God knows when or if the fluid has ever been changed. Still smokes both tires though.
Lame that you sold all the good stuff already. How long is the axel gonna be pending? |

Is the TDS steering box brace the same as a wonder bar? If so I'll take it! |

Yes, it is an upgraded version of GM's "wonder bar."
Will you be down this way this weekend? |

If the radiator mount is avail ill take . If I recall it was in excellent shape. . If Jon could pic p for me sweet. If not ill cruis. Also the chassis harness I believe I want. With all the purty stuff on your car, I recall that it really made my special purpose tingle when I saw. But if you can post a pic to jog memory that wouldbe sweet. |

"That price"? Yes, how dare I sell a part retailing at $55 for twenty bucks.

There is no radiator mount in the car. I have one for a veesix car with an e-fan, but that won't do you any good.
What do you plan to do with the chassis harness? It is 100% custom and has no provisions for power anything. I doubt it would work unless you started wiring from scratch (which you may be doing, I just want to make sure before I sell anybody anything they can't use. ) |
