Yeah, that's the general response I got from the local auto parts stores when I called around.

Loaded calipers are running a little over $100 though, which sucks cause my old Ford front calipers cost about $120 for both sides. Rolling Eyes

I was originally looking at getting these:

But I figured the brakes are not the place to cheap out and buy used, and I would have no recourse (and no car) if something was f***ed up.

You might save a bit of coin by getting the unloaded calipers and getting your own pads. Even just an okay stock style pad is ~$35 and calipers are about $60-65.

So if I get the pass. side friction-ready calipers, and pads for both sides, I'd get out the door for $120 with core? Better than I heard from most places today. Hell, Baxter's wants $127 just for the caliper. Mad

I might swing by tomorrow after work and check if you guys got them in stock, and get a final price. I don't get paid till Saturday, though, so I can't buy them till the weekend.

I'd almost guarantee they'll be at the schuck's california warehouse which means they'd be a day out. Which also means that the core would be ontop of that (shitty scenario)

I'm fully expecting to buy it outright, and then return my core. I usually never just do a straight swap at the counter, as I kinda tend to rob parts from my old stuff before turning it in. *cough* You didn't hear that from me.

That's not bad, probably $165 out the door with tax, then $50 back. Do the grades of shoes you guys offer go cheap -> stock -> best, or what?
