You'll find plenty of tire opinions on this forum, that's for sure.

Thanks! I wouldn't have sold it to just anybody, but this way I'll still get to work on it. BTW, I kinda suspected it was you, just by the style. Laughing

I'm suprised that you unloaded the Merc.

Did it still have a slipping 2nd gear?

It did, but it wont much longer. About a month after I sold it to him the radiator split between the trans lines and the tank. The C6 drank antifreeze and crapped the bed.

Got another good C6 sitting in the shop, he just needs to have it towed up here, and then I gotta swap output shafts. Mad

Err... that wasn't exactly our reaction to the trans blowing up, but yes.

Aaron,

Thanks for the links, I'll be picking up those Kumho's this month. I gotta get aligned too, I have a half inch on the outside edge of my fronts that are completely worn, no belts showing, but close, the rest of my fronts are 75% tread. Was like that when I bought her. What's the largest tire you can run on the back, I've looked around, and seen some different answers, I'm bone stock back there. Stock IROC 16" single stripes. I have 255's all the way around, but I rub up front, so I'm going to drop back to 245's there.

I've owned 10 vehicles in the last 18 months. Down to two now, but all the others I've made profit on. We can be vehicle ADD buddies. Very Happy

Glad your brother got the land barge as well. That thing is sweet, he seemed like he enjoyed it a lot at dyno.
