I will take the transmission.
I can almost certainly come get it this weekend, is that soon enough? If not I can get it some day this week after work.
So, since this didn't work does that mean you will be getting a 3800 Camaro trans? I thought the V8 T5 you have was exactly the same as the 3800 trans. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

Next weekend is fine. I'll make an exception to my no-hold rule for you, Gabe.
I have already bought a fourth gen T5 with bell and hydro TOB.
Details on the issues are in my build thread, but basically everything is the same except the input shaft length, which tells me that the crank and flywheel are about a half to 5/8's inch farther rear relative to the bellhousing flange on the 60* block. This would explain the lack of throw (fork back relative to TOB) and lack of input shaft contact at the pilot bushing (shaft too short). |

Right, I remember that now.
Are you free Saturday and Sunday or would one day be better than the other?
Also forgot to grab that console clock while I was down there last time. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

I don't know this far out. Give me a call closer in.
Yes, the console clock is still up in the rafters. |
