Cruising through the Fred Meyer parking lot trying to get a space, place is full up with holiday shoppers. I've got the car all washed up just before leaving the house, so its looking good! There's a woman parked in a mommymobile right in the middle of the lane while her kids load the groceries. I have to squeek by her, as I pass I see her look the car over and say "WOW I dig it" Now she didnt look old enough for an "I dig it" but maybe she thought it went with my car. Anyway I'll take it! |

I am amazed at how many people I catch looking at my car while driving down the road. I know all its nicks/dings/scratches and dont think it looks very good. But I guess others think it looks good... Our I'm just that bad of a driver |

Driving back from Cows I had two different people yell out "nice car!" Made me feel weird 'cause I didn't really think of it that way since it's so slow. |

Yea it's fun until you leave Wal Mart and head out to the parking lot just in time to find some YayHoo shoving his ENTIRE head into the hood scoop to try to look inside my engine bay at the motor!
I walk up and let him know not so politely about peoples personal space and how he was in violation of it!
For the most part though I like the attention the car brings _________________

How did the girl driving the mommymobile look? That's the important question! _________________ 1986 IROC Z-28 |

Sad story:
I can count on two hands the number of times random strangers have told me "nice car!" while driving my Camaro in the last 5 years.
I've owned my Subaru for two months. I've had 5 people so far stop me to tell me they like my car.
I mean really? I know which one looks better to me. And is faster. And sounds better.

They probably drive by the Camaro in their Priuses and shield their children's eyes, tell them not to look at the bad man ruining the environment. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56
